I am married, to Lynn for 36 years. And volunteer in several Church committees, as well as NC chili cooks for charity. My hobbies include antique hunting and restoration of old but beautiful solid wood pieces. Get help from your friends

In the windows help you will see a place where you can invite a friend to help.  Clicking on this will walk you through allowing remote access and allows you to send it from the wizard.  However I have found that its much better to save the file and email it.  Firewall and security software can interfere with connectivity.  The friend will receive an email with a link that will connect them to your computer in which they can control it just as if they were there.                 Tell us if this has worked for you.

Command Prompt

The command prompt is a dos shell.  The command prompt is widely used for diagnostic purposes. How to get there.  In XP "click start, "click all programs", "click accesories", then "click command prompt".  Advanced users can type "cmd" in the run dialog.
